Amman, 31st December 2025: Coinciding with the completion of its third decade as Jordan’s first mobile telecommunications operator, Zain Jordan has capped a milestone year by winning eight prestigious regional and international awards in 2025. The awards recognize the company’s pioneering role in digital transformation, its continuous investment in advanced telecommunications infrastructure, and its leadership in innovation and sustainability, reinforcing its position as a key driver of Jordan’s digital economy.

The awards reflect Zain Jordan’s 30th year journey of impact across the national telecommunications sector, its commitment to enhancing customer experience, and its sustained contributions to society. Collectively, these achievements underscore Zain Jordan’s role as a strategic partner in advancing Jordan’s economic and digital development over three decades.

Among the highlights, Zain Jordan received the Middle East Excellence Award 2025 for Technology Excellence for its regional data storage and disaster recovery center (The Bunker), in the Data Centers category for telecom companies. Granted by Asian Business Review, the award recognizes the facility as the first of its kind in the region, built to the highest international standards. The recognition affirms Zain Jordan’s contribution to positioning Jordan as a regional hub for technology and innovation, while supporting national digital transformation efforts through advanced, integrated digital solutions.

In recognition of its leadership in balancing economic growth with environmental protection and social impact, Zain Jordan was awarded the Arab Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2025 in the Large Companies category. The award acknowledges the company’s integrated institutional approach to sustainability, embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals into its strategy and operations, and launching long-term, high-impact initiatives in partnership with local and international stakeholders.

Zain Jordan’s digital leadership was further recognized with the Best Digital Transformation Initiative in the Telecommunications Sector 2025 for its innovative (Agentic AI) initiative, awarded by Global Economics magazine as part of the Global Economics Awards. The AI-driven solution reduced internal request processing time by 80%, increased internal user satisfaction to 95%, and saved more than 1,000 working hours annually demonstrating tangible value through responsible adoption of advanced technologies.

As a regional first, Zain Jordan also won the Best 5G Network Expansion Award for its groundbreaking (5G Thin Layer) innovation. This solution represents a major leap in accelerating 5G rollout and expanding coverage with high operational efficiency, without the need for rebuilding existing networks, while maintaining network stability and service quality, reinforcing Zain Jordan’s commitment to future-ready digital infrastructure.

On the workplace front, Zain Jordan earned the Great Place to Work Certification 2025, recognizing its ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive work environment. The certification reflects Zain’s people-centric culture and its dedication to employee wellbeing and engagement.

Zain also achieved the EDGE Green Building Certification, awarded by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in collaboration with GBCI, making Zain Jordan the first telecom company in the Kingdom to receive this international certification. The achievement highlights Zain Jordan’s adherence to global standards in energy, water, and material efficiency, and its commitment to reducing environmental impact through responsible operations.

Complementing these achievements, Zain Group ranked first in the telecommunications sector across Middle East markets in Forbes’ annual list of World’s Best Employers 2025, placing among the top three employers in the region. The ranking reflects the Group’s continued focus on talent management, innovation-driven culture, and sustainable workplace practices.

Zain Jordan concluded the year with another milestone, receiving the Women Inclusive Work Environment Award from UN Women during the annual end of year ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel – Al Nabeel in Amman. The award recognizes Zain Jordan’s sustained commitment to gender equality and fostering an inclusive workplace that empowers women at all levels.
