As part of its ongoing commitment to empowering underprivileged women and youth by enhancing their skills, Zain Jordan has renewed its support for Al-Amal Foundation for Training, Education, and Development for the eighth consecutive year.
Zain Jordan’s partnership with Al-Amal Foundation, which began in 2017, reflects Zain’s dedication to supporting initiatives focused on education and empowerment. This aligns with its efforts to drive sustainable development and create a brighter future for communities. The initiative also contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): the 4th Goal”Quality Education” and the 17th Goal “Partnerships for the Goals”, which Zain actively incorporates across its sustainability programs and initiatives.
Through this partnership, Zain Jordan provides free internet services to support Al-Amal’s developmental programs and training sessions. This enables beneficiaries to access diverse educational content and enhance their digital skills, including technology courses, training on Google tools, and digital workflow management. The support also extends to Al-Amal Library and T-Talk language exchange program, which connects participants with native English speakers online to improve their language skills. To date, over 2,000 women have benefited from the program, with the total number of beneficiaries from Zain’s support exceeding 4,936 individuals. This includes 1,395 children, 3,441 youth, and 100 elderly individuals, reinforcing Zain’s role in facilitating access to educational resources, improving communication between teams and beneficiaries, and fostering innovation in digital learning methods.
Al-Amal Foundation for Training, Education, and Development was established in 2012 as a non-profit organization operating in Jerash Camp. It is dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities through education and vocational training. Zain Jordan’s continued support through free internet access enhances digital learning opportunities, promotes innovative educational approaches, and strengthens community empowerment in Jerash Camp. Additionally, Al-Amal provides a safe space for girls to learn and grow through training programs and workshops in various fields, including technology, development, and language acquisition.
