Reinforcing its longstanding commitment to youth empowerment and sports development in Jordan, Zain Jordan has announced its strategic partnership with “Red Bull Goal Engleezi” tournament. This collaboration builds on Zain’s extended strategic alliance with Red Bull and further cements the company’s role as a leading enabler of sports and youth-focused initiatives.
The tournament, which featured five qualifying rounds in Amman and Irbid, concluded last Friday at the Iris International Sports Academy fields in Amman. Zain’s support for the event falls in line with its efforts to position Jordan on the global sports map—particularly in football, one of the most widely followed sports worldwide.
The competition attracted strong participation from youth across Jordan, with qualifiers taking place from May 9 to 15. Targeting football enthusiasts aged 18 to 35, the tournament brought together 10 teams for the national finals. Team "Falcons" claimed the championship title and won the opportunity to visit Red Bull Salzburg Football Club in Austria.
Zain continues to play a pivotal role in the development of the sports ecosystem in Jordan through hosting and sponsoring various events and initiatives. These include partnerships with major national sports organizations and events, such as being the exclusive telecom sponsor of Jordan Basketball Federation, a Gold Sponsor of Jordan Olympic Committee, and a strategic partner of Jordan Motorsport, Jordan Riders Rally, and Harley Owners Group (HOG) Rally. Zain is also the exclusive telecom partner of Jordan International Rally and a long-standing strategic partner of Red Bull activities in Jordan.
Moreover, Zain extends its support to high-profile events such as "Run Amman Promenade" ultramarathon and the Women’s Marathon, alongside sponsoring youth football and basketball leagues in schools, and sponsoring Jordanianindividual sports talents. Zain has proudly supported Jordan’s Paralympic athletes for over 15 years, helping foster a more inclusive and thriving sports culture in the Kingdom.
