For the sixth consecutive year, Zain Jordan is reaffirming its role as the exclusive telecommunications sponsor of the 10th edition of Aqaba International Insurance Conference, organized by the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) in collaboration with the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF), under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Adel Sharkas, Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan. 

Zain’s sponsorship of this prominent international event reflects its unwavering commitment to supporting Jordan’s position as a regional hub for innovation and technology by delivering advanced digital solutions and exceptional telecom services. The company continues to play a leading role in empowering businesses across both public and private sectors, through tailored solutions that boost operational efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate digital transformation efforts, all while reinforcing its leadership in strengthening the Kingdom’s telecommunications infrastructure.

The event is being held at Aqaba International Exhibitions & Convention Center and is witnessing participation from over 900 experts and professionals from Jordan and 32 internationalcountries.

As part of its participation, Zain & through “Zain Business” is showcasing a full set of innovative enterprise solutions at its interactive booth. These include cloud-based services, cybersecurity solutions, and offerings from Zain’s state-of-the-art regional data center and disaster recovery facility, The Bunker. In parallel, Zain Cash” Zain’s fintech arm” is also taking part in the event through its dedicated booth, presenting a comprehensive range of digital financial services that foster financial inclusion and support Jordan’s digital economy. This year’s conference welcomes around 900 participants from global and regional insurance organizations, associations, companies, and individual experts. The event offers a platform for dialogue, experience-sharing, and the signing of cooperation agreements between insurance and reinsurance companies.

The conference will feature several in-depth sessions tackling critical industry topics, includingInsurtech and the Technological Revolution” chaired by H.E. Ambassador Karim Kawar, Co-Founder and Chairman of NatHealth Jordan, with insights from former Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmad Hanandeh. And a session titled “Strategic Alliances Between Insurance Companies and Banks” chaired by Dr. Maher Mahrouq, Director General of the Association of Banks in Jordan, featuring Dr. Maen Qatamin, Founder and Chairman of the Digital Business Development Platform. In addition to “Mandatory Insurance: An Inevitable Evolution or a Growing Burden?” chaired by Dr. Hazem Rahahleh, Chairman of the Electricity Distribution Companies and former Director General of the Social Security Corporation, with remarks from Hassan Nasser, Vice President of Nasco Re / Lebanon.
